My goal is to find my niche as a Congress member and help Japan as it transforms into a more productive, more powerful nation in the eRepublik world. I am not the loudest or most adept member of the Diet, but I have a deep respect for this country, its people, and its stories. I am now at work on a wiki page for our most recent 'situation', the Second Kyushu Controversy.

It took a lot of work to dig through old eRepublik newspaper articles (since the archive is so rudimentary) and the national forums (much easier searching there) to get the whole story accurately, but putting the document together was fun, and the feedback motivated me to continue. Most notably, I was sole author of the wiki page for the Bank of Japan theft. Operation Wiki - I have started to emerge as one of the historians of Japan, by working on the Japan section of the eRepublik wiki. This may seem like a step back for ambassadors, but actually, it is a more realistic view of what ambassadors can accomplish. While I cannot take credit for the changes that have taken place, I did take the role of Ambassador to Serbia, and I was part of the dialogue that changed the role of Ambassador into less of a diplomat role, and more of a spokesperson one. And, because I am an XP whore, I voted on all the unimportant proposals as well.įoreign Affairs - In my campaign speech last month I pledged to do work to improve the Foreign Affairs department. I don't argue much on the national forums, but I try to clearly state my opinion and provide solid analysis for why. I participated in all the important debates on the national forums, and am in the #eJapan IRC channel almost every day.
